Local Authority Rent Arrears

I raised the issue of the rent arrears in local authority rents. Rent arrears have reached chronic levels. The recommendations put forward over a decade ago have not been implemented. Everybody should be making a contribution in line with their ability to pay and additionally looking at easier ways to make payments to facilitate the payment of rent arrears.
